TIP 1:
Avoid using shampoos which contain sodium laureth sulfates. These chemicals will steal the natural oils from your hair and weaken it. Also, do not buy conditioners and styling products with these chemicals. Get hold of natural and organic products with the least amount of chemicals.
TIP 2:
Do not wash your hair every day. Check the texture of your hair and choose your hair washing regime.
TIP 3:
Select essential oils to enrich the nature of your scalp. These include thyme, cedarwood, chamomile, rosemary, and lavender. Take about 10 to 20 drops of the oil and apply it on your scalp. Massage it slowly using your fingertips. You can also increase the girth of your hair by conditioning your hair with these oils. Add 10 drops of the essential oil to 4 ounces of olive, castor, or sunflower oil. Apply it on your hair, making sure that you cover it strand-by-strand. Let it sit for about 30 minutes and then rinse it with your organic shampoo.
Did you know that the hair can absorb oil from water like sponge? Make sure your hair gets the oils it needs, especially the essential rosemary oil!
TIP 4:
Do not use any heat-inducing appliances like ironing or straightening rods on your hair. This will strip the natural aura of your hair and leave it dull and dry. After you wash your hair, avoid using a blower and let your hair dry naturally.
TIP 5:
Make sure you eat a diet that is healthy and balanced. It must contain plenty of vitamin B and iron. You can get these from green leafy vegetables, meat and fish.
TIP 6:
When you are going out, put on a hat or wrap a scarf around your head. This will protect your hair from dirt and pollutants. Stress is also one of the major causes of hair loss and thinning. Make sure you balance your time between play and work. Treat your hair gently and do not pull it out while combing harshly.
TIP 7:
Whisk two to three eggs into a paste. Apply it on your hair for 30 minutes and wash with water. Make sure you do not use hot water as it can dry your hair. Always use lukewarm or cold water to wash hair. Do this three times a week.
TIP 8:
Make a mix of a cup of orange juice along with equal amount of apple paste and apply it in your hair. Leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash your hair with lukewarm water.
TIP 9:
Trim your hair regularly. The ideal time to trim your hair would be every two to three times a week. Cut your hair about ¼ to 1 inch.
TIP 10:
Prevent using rubber bands that can result in you losing over 100 strands of hair while you attempt to remove them. Go for gracious buns and topknots which can be made by using small and large jaw clips.
