Temporoparietalis is a bilateral muscle of the scalp. It originates from both the sides and then inserts into the galea aponeurosis.

Origin

Temporoparietalis arises from the aponeurosis above the auricularis.

Insertion

Temporoparietalis inserts into the epicranial aponeurosis.

Blood supply

Superficial temporal artery.

Nerve supply

Temporal branch of facial nerve.

Action

Its action is to fix the galea aponeurotica.
