Beware of these carcinogens in your daily life

Cancer has lately become one the most prevalent diseases. And you could be making really healthy life style choices; but have you checked these carcinogens in your daily life? Although the exact cause of cancer is not known, the below mentioned substances are known to be associated with certain types of cancers.

  • Sodas

    How often have you stopped your kids from having a cola? But what you haven’t thought of protecting yourself from are the carcinogens in the drink. Yes! Your favourite cola has unsafe levels of chemicals used to give them their colour, which in turn are carcinogenic. So next time you stop your kids from guzzling a cola, put your glass down too!

  • Your daily bowl of breakfast cereals

  • Your daily soap and cream

    Most daily care products like shampoos; soaps and creams have SLS or parabens. Both have been known to cause cancers. Parabens have been connected to breast cancer and researches are on to find their full effect. So the next time you go shopping, turn to the natural Ayurvedic options instead of your usual chemical laden product.

  • Microwave popcorn

    Snuggling up for your favourite film with a bowl of microwave popcorn? Think again. Laden with preservatives and flavours microwave popcorns have carcinogens in them right from the bag to the kernels.
