Would you like to have beautifully toned skin and a lovely smiling face?
Facial care involves regular cleaning with a face wash, applying moisturizer, and an occasional application of a face pack. Few, however, think about exercising their facial muscles. Just as you need to work out your tummy muscles to keep them flat, you need to tone your facial muscles in order to relax the skin, rejuvenate it after stress, improve blood circulation to the face and make it shiny.
Here are some exercises to tone up your face.
- Stretch the eyebrows as if frowning. Close and open your eyes. Do this fast at least five times. This contraction and relaxation will help to prevent or reduce wrinkles.
- Pull down the lower eyelid with a finger and look up.
- Rotate eyeballs in all directions. Then repeat this again with eyes closed.
- Exercise your lips by pouting. Try and contract the lips as close as possible. Maintain the position for 30 seconds and relax. Do this five times.
- Grab your upper lip with your lower lip and try to pull the chin down with your finger.
- Say cheese. We mean smile broadly. It pushes cheeks upwards. Hold it for 30 seconds and release.
