Action
These muscles help to bend the back sideways on either side and also help to bend the back on backside.
Disease/Injury
Bad posture, sudden movement, lifting heavy objects, or overuse of muscles leads to back pain.
Muscle Exercise
Kneeling back rotation stretch helps to strengthen the lower back. Kneel and raise the right arm and rotate your middle back and shoulders by looking upwards. Your arm should be straight, pointing upwards. Now come back to starting position and repeat on the left side. This helps to increase the stretching of muscles.
