Insertion
Proximal phalanges of the 2nd to 5th toes.
Blood supply
Medial plantar artery, lateral plantar artery.
Nerve supply
Medial plantar nerve, lateral plantar nerve.
Action
It helps to extend and bend the foot.

Muscle Exercise
To strengthen this muscle, foot arch lift exercise is best to do. Align your foot and leg and lift the arches. Pull the ball of the foot and heel towards each other to make a dome in the middle of the foot. Then release the arch lift. Repeat the exercise a few times.
