Capillaries are the tiny blood vessels which supplies blood from arteries to veins. They are the smallest and the most fragile among the body's blood vessels. They are responsible for microcirculation means circulatory network within the organ.

Functions:

It helps to exchange water, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and many other nutrients and chemical waste substances between the blood and surrounding tissue of the organ.

Capillary disorders are very rare; they are listed below, Capillary leak syndrome, capillary fragility, and capillary permeability.

Interesting Facts:

Capillaries are the smallest blood vessels and visible only under a microscope.
