TEETH
Teeth of humans are small, calcified, hard, whitish structures found in your mouth. All of us get two sets of teeth; the first set normally starts to appear at about 6 months of age, known as primary teeth, baby teeth or milk teeth. And the second set is which you get new teeth after the baby teeth. There are 28 permanent teeth in all, eight more than the original set of baby teeth. Between the ages of 17-25years, four more teeth called wisdom teeth usually grow in at the back of the mouth. They complete the adult set of 32 teeth. The part of the tooth you can see, which is not covered by the gum is called crown. The crown of each tooth is covered by enamel, which is very hard and shiny. Dentin makes up the largest part of tooth. Innermost part of the tooth is called as pulp. The pulp is where each tooth's nerve endings and blood supply are found. Cementum makes up the root of the tooth.
